高一下學期-Module 4 unit 2 sports event 寫作課-說課稿
英語寫作教學在英語教學中的位置越來越重要，撰寫教學設計和試講也是近年來教招考試中出現頻率較高的考查形式，能夠測出考生的語言功底和表達能力。本文以牛津版高一下學期Unit 2 Sports Events寫作課為例進行教學設計，該教學設計以學生的興趣愛好為出發點和歸宿點，旨在發揮學生的實際語言運用能力。
Good morning, dear judges. It’s my great honor and pleasure to be here sharing my lesson with you. My topic today is “Sports Event”. I have been ready to begin my presentation with following parts:
1 Analysis of teaching materials
This lesson is from English Book of OXFORD Yilin Edition Module 4 Advance with English, Unit 2 Sports Event for Senior One, the writing part. This lesson is about the history of sports events and how they like nowadays. Through this lesson, students can know more about the sports they play in their daily life..
2 Analysis of students
Students in level have already learned English for several years. Most of them can use words to make their own sentences. And in this age, they like sports. Sports is a popular topic among them. Not only they can talk about sports but also they want to. But they are still not skillful enough to express their own thoughts well by themselves, and writing an article is quite hard to them. So I will tell them how to write a logical passage.
3 Analysis of teaching aims
Based on the English curriculum standard and the characteristics of the students, I set the following teaching aims:
(1) Knowledge aims:
Students can get familiar with the topic “sports” and “history of a event.”
(2) Ability aims:
Students can catch the detailed information from the given content and then use their own words flexibly to talk about the history of a kind of sport they are interested in.
(3) Emotional aims:
Students will increase their interest in discussing with others together.
Students will hold a positive attitude to attending sports events.
4 Analysis of teaching key points and difficult points
Students can get familiar with the topic “sports” and “history of them.”
Students can apply reading and writing strategies: skimming and scanning, coherence writing.
Students can talk and write the history of the sports they like in proper way.
5 Analysis of teaching methods and learning methods
To help students achieve the teaching aims much better and easier, I’ll mainly use “Task-based” and “Communicative” teaching methods. For students, they will use autonomous learning method, and they will learn to communicate with people, and write the article logically.
6 Analysis of teaching aids
In order to catch students’ attention, I prepare multimedia to show them vivid learning material.
7 Analysis of teaching procedures
This is the most important part in this design, it can be divided into following steps:
Step 1 Warming-up
First of all, I will greet the whole class, and welcome the students. After greeting, a video will be played to the class, which is about Zhang Jike, a very famous Chinese table tennis player. This video can naturally guide into this lessons topic and arouse students’ great interest about the lesson “sports events”.
Step 2 Pre-writing
Before writing, students must collect plenty of materials about the topic and they should also know the structure of the article, so I prepared two tasks to them in this step.
Read the first passage on the book, find out the answer of three questions, “What’s the definition of the table tennis” and so on. Detailed reading, they can give the answer easily.
The the second shorter passage, which is about the history of bowling. This time, students will have a group task---- talk about the history of bowling and their own favourite sports.
After these two steps, students will know the general structure to write a sport, the aspects they can include and some useful information or phrases they can use.
Step 3 While-writing
15 minutes are given to the students to finish their article. If they cannot finish an entire passage in this short time, they can only work on the third part.
Step 4 Post-writing
When the students finish their writing, they can change their passages or paragraph with desk-mates to check the mistakes of spelling, punctuation and grammar, then, correct them.
One or two volunteers will be chosen to share their compositions for the whole class. Volunteers read out their compositions aloud while others are appreciating it.
At last, find some students express their opinion about the article they heard and what they can learn from it. After that, the teacher gives some good suggestions.
Step 5 Summary and homework
After class, I will give students homework that they are going to finish the whole three parts of their compositions. They can search some information they need on the Internet..
